The machine’s purpose is to clean/dehair cattle and pig feet.
The already cut feet are inserted through the upper door. The cleaning process starts with the push of a button.
The feet rotate on the chamber’s disc and are pressed to the side wall due to centrifugal forces. During the rotation, water is being poured into the machine’s chamber through a ¾” 4 bar supply and goes out into the drain.
The motor’s turning speed is regulated with a potentiometer through an inverter.
When the process is over, the side door is opened manually and the clean feet are removed from the side door.
The punch cleaning machine consists of:
- Inox base made of 3mm INOX sheet, which holds the 10mm INOX disc, rotated by a 9.6kW 3 phase motor with an i=8.6 reductor.
- Cleaning chamber made of 3mm INOX sheet, with an upper door for inserting feet and a side door with manual locking mechanism for removing them.
- Control box, contains all the necessary electrical components for the machine’s safe use, along with start and emergency stop buttons and a 15kW inverter, to control the disc’s speed through a potentiometer.
